A copycat of another notorious malware called Antivir Solution Pro, Antivir Solution Platinum is yet another scam wrapped in a neat anti-spyware package. It is scareware at its finest, preying on the fear that most users have about viruses, Trojans and other malware.

The average computer user really has no clue as to how antivirus applications function so half the work of this fake anti-spyware is already done. It simply shows an interface similar to that of many of the usual antivirus solutions in the market. Coupled with its nag screens that your system is full of viruses, many will unwittingly fall for the con and grab their credit cards to pay for the full version of this malware app. I’m sure you won’t but just to make sure: don’t pay for this!

While it might look harmless on first glance, this program can open a whole can of worms since it disables your computer security and slows down your system’s performance.
