Many people let their guard down when using anti-malware apps. Sure they can be suspicious of flash websites, payment portals and free software but antivirus apps disarm precautions due to their very nature. this is probably the biggest reason rogue software like Security Shield 2010 are so widespread.
Security Shield 2010 installs itself secretly into your computer and uses a fake system scanner to identify malware in your computer. Don’t be surprised if this program suddenly announces that your previously spotless computer is riddled with viruses.
It’s a rip off, of course. There are no actual malware, all the scans only show fake files installed by the rogue software. It’s only goal is to extract money from you and thousands of other unsuspecting victims to further the finances of its hacker authors.
Be wary of this application since there is a chance that it carries more intrusive malware that are not only after a bit of cash like itself, but will also intrude in your privacy. Some of these can take control of your computer, use your PC as part of a network of zombie PCs and let you unknowingly participate in illegal enterprises.
Uninstall and wipe out all traces of this bad piece of software. Just run through our instructions below and you’re computer will be fine in no time.
