Watch out for Windows Police Pro. Sure it may pretend like it is a “real” antivirus program. It may even conduct a scan to tell you about what infections you have. Don’t believe it. The virus was created to mimic the way a normal antivirus program works in order to trick you.
In fact the rogue does nothing but infect your system and attempt to steal private information. Don’t fall for the trick, remove Windows Police Pro ASAP.

Ahh yes the deadly Alpha Antivirus. It is quite a pain in the neck to deal with huh? Viruses these days are getting harder and harder to remove and can wreak more havoc than ever. This particular baddy will not only slow down your computer and potentially corrupt your system, it can also steal private and personal information right off your hard drive. Nevermind if Alpha Antivirus claims it can remove your infections. It won’t. You need to do it yourself or simply download the right program to do it for you.

Remove Personal Antivirus
Posted on October 20, 2009 by SpywareFix
Personal Antivirus aka Personal AV is one of the most popular computer viral infections on the net today. The virus slips onto your system through a trojan and wreaks havoc on your CPU. The program can also be very difficult to remove and renders “system restore” useless. Personal Antivirus will attempt to use a fake scan to get you to purchase the full program. I recommend getting rid of it quickly because some variants of the virus have been known to cause identity fraud.

Remove PC Scout
Posted on October 19, 2009 by SpywareFix

PC Scout is what you can call a “pretend” antivirus software. Oh it may act like an antivirus program and look like one, but it does not remove any viruses or spyware of the sort. In fact is does the opposite. It INFECTS your computer. But the clever scam is that once your infected the program is designed to scare you into forking over money to buy it.
If it doesn’t get your money then it will simply try to steal your personal information instead. I don’t think you need me to tell you to get rid of PC Scout as quickly as you can.

Security Fighter is another in a long line of fake rogue antivirus applications.
